Sea Gulls, Bobcats receive
AVCA Team Academic Award

The Salisbury Sea Gulls and the Frostburg State Bobcats volleyball teams are two of 126 NCAA Division III schools to be honored with the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the 2013 season.

The award requires at least a 3.30 cumulative team grade-point average on a 4.0 scale

The Sea Gulls were last ranked fourth by the NCAA in the mid-Atlantic region. Salisbury finished 2013 season with a 29-6 overall record, while advancing to the Capital Athletic Conference championship game and earning an NCAA tournament berth.

The Bobcats finished the 2013 season with a 7-27 record and earned a trip to the CAC Tournament.

The Wesley Wolverines, Salisbury Sea Gulls and the Frostburg State Bobcats are rivals in the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC).

VOLLEYBALL ENDED THE 2013 SEASON tallying a program-best 15-13 overall record.

THE WOLVERINES PLAY at home in the Wentworth Gymnasium, which is located in the heart of the Wesley campus at South Governor's Ave. & Fulton St., Dover, DE. The gym has seating for 350 fans.

THE WESLEY MASCOT
