The NCAA Volleyball Facebook page has been running a series of striking graphics as a countdown to the start of the national 2014 collegiate volleyball season. The photos features D1 players from across the country.

There have been 16 similar posts over the past 32 days. Undoubtedly there will be more of this art displayed on the Facebook page as we near the opening day games.

VOLLEYBALL ENDED THE 2013 SEASON tallying a program-best 15-13 overall record.

THE WOLVERINES PLAY at home in the Wentworth Gymnasium, which is located in the heart of the Wesley campus at South Governor's Ave. & Fulton St., Dover, DE. The gym has seating for 350 fans.

THE WESLEY MASCOT
is a feisty wolverine.

Now, a wolverine is nothing
like a wolf. Instead, it more closely resembles a small bear. The wolverine has a reputation for ferocity and strength out of proportion to its size, with the documented ability to defend itself against prey many times larger than itself.

THE GRITTY WOLVERINE
is a apt mascot.
