The Wesley Wolverines came back from a set where they found themselves down 24-19 only to rebound for a final 26-24 win. That enabled a 3-1 victory over the over Penn State Brandywine Lions this past Saturday, August 30, in Media, PA.
Freshman #10 OH Tionne Graves-Brown (Sacramento, CA) accounted for 12 kills and 12 digs, while junior
#3 L/DS Meghan Marshall (Wilmington, DE) recorded 18 digs.
Freshman #14 OH/MB Tania Rounds (Huntsville, AL) and sophomore
Freshman #14 OH/MB Tania Rounds (Huntsville, AL) and sophomore
#1 OH Arnelle Akakpo (Rahway, NJ) had 6 kills. Sophomore #24 S Beth Schlecker (Bear, DE) delivered 15 assists followed by freshman #21 S/RS Codi Ziolkowski (Bear, DE) with 14 assists. Cody also produced 6 aces, 7 digs and 4 blocks.
